At its core is a 3" 8-layer flat aluminum voice coil, designed for high power handling and heat dissipation. Combined with a lightweight cone and extended pole structure, the TCX-18 D2 moves massive air while staying tight and controlled.
With a BL product of 27.216 T·m and a lightweight yet rigid carbon fiber cone, the TCX-18 D2 produces extreme output while maintaining accuracy. The 8-layer coil allows for enhanced thermal dissipation and greater current handling at high power. A precision-engineered spider system and motor structure ensure cone control even at peak excursion.
