The Sky High Car Audio FXB-2600.4 is what happens when serious full-range power gets packed into the FXB compact platform.
Delivering an incredible 650 watts RMS × 4 channels at 2 ohms, the FXB-2600.4 puts a combined 2,600 watts RMS of full-range power into a chassis measuring just 5.9" × 8.35" × 2.1".
Read that again.
2,600 watts RMS. Four channels. 8.35 inches long.
Don't let the compact size or reasonable price fool you.
The FXB-2600.4 was built to bring serious SHCA power and quality into the compact amplifier market without giving up the output, flexibility, or features demanded by today's high-output systems.
This is where the FXB platform changes what's possible.
The compact dimensions of the FXB-2600.4 make it an incredible option for motorcycle audio, powersports builds, modern vehicle integration, factory system upgrades, under-seat installations, behind-seat installs, stealth systems, and virtually any installation where amplifier space is limited.
Motorcycle audio is a perfect example.
When space is measured in inches and you still need enough power to drive a serious high-output system, traditional full-size multi-channel amplifiers can become an installation challenge before the build even starts.
Modern vehicles create similar problems. Factory electronics, smaller interior spaces, increasingly complex OEM systems, and limited mounting locations mean installers need to get more power out of less space.
That's exactly what FXB was designed to do.
Maximum usable power. Minimum wasted space.
The numbers are what really separate the FXB-2600.4.
At 2 ohms, you have 650 watts RMS available on EACH of four channels.
At 4 ohms, it still delivers an impressive 425 watts RMS × 4.
Need fewer channels and even more power?
Bridge it.
The FXB-2600.4 is fully bridgeable at 4 ohms, allowing you to combine channel pairs for a massive 1,350 watts RMS per bridged channel at 4 ohms.
That gives the 2600.4 incredible flexibility.
Run it as a conventional four-channel amplifier. Bridge one pair while running the remaining channels independently. Or bridge both pairs when the system calls for maximum power into fewer loads.
Four channels when you need them. Massive bridged power when you don't.
The FXB-2600.4 isn't just about output.
Its Class D full-range design provides a 10Hz–25kHz frequency response, making it an extremely versatile power source for today's high-output car and motorcycle audio systems.
Adjustable high-pass and low-pass crossovers allow the amplifier to be configured for a wide range of speaker applications, while its 0.4–6V low-level input range makes integration with different source units and processors simple.
An onboard clipping indicator gives you another valuable tool when setting up and monitoring the system.
Packing 2,600 watts of rated output into an amplifier this small creates another challenge:
Heat.
That's why the FXB-2600.4 incorporates an internal cooling fan to help actively manage amplifier temperature when you're leaning on all four channels.
It also includes built-in thermal, overload, short-circuit, and voltage protection to help protect the amplifier when conditions aren't right.
That's especially important when the amplifier is installed in a compact location with limited space around it.
Compact doesn't mean we forgot what happens when you actually use the power.
The compact chassis is only part of what makes the FXB Series different.
The FXB Series brings the modular, customizable amplifier concept made popular by our SHCA Series amplifiersinto our compact amplifier lineup.
Using the SHCA Universal Amp Key system, FXB amplifiers can take advantage of SHCA mounting and customization options, opening up entirely new possibilities for clean amp racks and tight installations.
Mount it flat. Mount it at an angle. Build multiple amplifiers together. Add passive cooling. Change the look with different passive cooling color options.
For motorcycles, modern vehicle integration, and other installations where mounting space is limited, that flexibility becomes even more valuable.
Instead of forcing the installation to fit the amplifier, FXB gives the installer more ways to make the amplifier fit the installation.
